A continuation of the tradition in the College of Planning and Design of NCKU to host an international conference biennially, we will host the 4th International Conference on Planning and Design (ICPD) in 2007 on May 5th to 6th. Various topics are planned for the 4th ICPD targeted toward getting information to facilitate the development of planning and design for human habitats.
Authors are encouraged to submit an English-written abstract that is 300-500 words in length. File formats for abstracts are restricted to the Microsoft Word (.DOC) file format. The abstract should be submitted through this web site http://www.aoetek.com/icpd/ before Dec.30, 2006.
An editor, and possibly other reviewers, will review the abstracts. Authors will receive a response from the editor indicating whether the editor approved the document, requires a revision of the document or declined the document. If the editor approved the document, the author will receive an e-mail notice of acceptance by Jan. 15, 2007. For an approved abstract, the author will be required to submit a full paper less than 10 pages due no later than March 1, 2007.
Standard sessions will have 3-4 speakers. Other types of presentations will be panel discussions and design exhibition sessions. We thank you for your support in the past and look forward to have your participation at the 4th ICPD.
